Surprisingly I got everything done that I needed to last Wednesday night before I left for hockey. Off I went to play completely packed for my trip with $300 US (cost me $309 CA) cash and the parts ordered to replace my broken bumper. After one win and one loss at hockey I was home and in bed by about 1230am.
On Thursday the alarm went off way too early and we were out the door and off to PA by 630-ish. I slept most of the way there. I think I even slept between leaving my house and stopping to pick up my gramma (a 10 minute drive). Thursday was spent in Erie, but not a lot of great shopping there. Friday we were off to Grove City to find greener shopping pastures. The Prime Outlet was just what we were looking for. I didn’t get any of the things I wanted, but I did find lots of good deals. A good trip all round and lots of fun. The rest of the weekend was spent doing very little, though I did manage a big spring clean up yesterday. Was a productive day, despite staying in bed until almost noon.
This week has started out well with a good morning session at boot camp and a surprise hockey game tonight! I was put on a roster for a co-ed team as a spare in case they needed me and I’m in already. Looks like my summer team (photo below) that I’m not supposed to play on until July is going to need me again on Wednesday. Fortunately ball hockey is at 6 and ice hockey is at 8, so I won’t be home super late like last week. Long weekend coming so I will have time to recuperate then if nothing else. Though I have tentatively scheduled a James Bond N64 ass kicking – I might need some mental acuity for that so I do the kicking rather than get kicked!
